Job summary

Five Below seeks a dedicated Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations in Waynesboro. You will supervise staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain merchandise presentation aligned with company plans and promotions.

This hourly role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to handle opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and safety. The position offers growth within a fast-paced, energetic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, ensuring accurate signage and promotions.
• Handles opening/closing duties, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, leading store operations and staff as needed.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives store sales by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Executes the market plan and maintains Inventory Integrity processes.
