Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to lead daily store operations and develop a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment. You will manage stocking, merchandising, customer service, and store standards while learning from experienced leaders, with opportunities for growth and leadership from the front.

Starting wage is $29.50 per hour, with an earning potential of $82,500-$98,000 in Year 1 including salary and bonus where applicable.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old required.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees the resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the district manager, as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including recommending personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Communicates, cooperates, and interacts effectively with all levels of ALDI personnel, customers, third-party vendors and business partners.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the team to develop sales, engage our teams, satisfy your customers and achieve consistent high performance.
• Fosters a positive and collaborative working environment and promotes teamwork among employees.
