Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations and develop future leaders. You will supervise staff, handle coordination with management, and drive customer-focused service while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma, leadership skills, and completion of internal trainings. Bilingual abilities are encouraged to apply, with a path toward management within the network.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma and strong interpersonal/leadership abilities.
• Complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alphanumeric characters accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members.
• Recruit, test, hire, evaluate, promote, discipline and discharge staff in coordination with management.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in hiring processes and candidate interviews.
• Ensure safety compliance and staff training across areas of responsibility.
• Make sales calls and coordinate with store manager on customer engagement.
• Oversee delivery fleet maintenance, scheduling, payroll, and KPI tracking.
• Review monthly P&L with store manager and identify opportunities.
