Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking individuals to assist the store manager in sales, appearance and overall operations, with hands-on training to prepare for a management position at another store or future location.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The role covers supervision of professional and retail operations, hiring, training, safety, scheduling, payroll, KPI reviews and yearly P&L discussions with the store manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Train new team members assigned to him or her and handle performance evaluations.
• Assist in hiring by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and interviews.
• Support store manager with safety compliance and staff training.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager and conduct weekly customer calls.
• Maintain delivery fleet records and ensure store/HUB is neat and organized.
• Learn to manage KPIs, review P&L with store manager, and identify opportunities.
