Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily store operations, supervise team members, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will support the store manager, oversee scheduling, training, safety, and performance evaluations.

This role offers hands-on training toward a management position at this or future locations, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store.
• Collaborate with district manager and store manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members.
• Train new team members and handle performance evaluations and pay increases.
• Assist in hiring by completing recruiting tasks and interviewing.
