Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in retail, sales or tire and automotive industries including leadership, business management, financial, and/or mechanical experience.
• Ability to obtain state license for Motor Vehicle Inspection within one year of hire.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and office productivity software.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to lead team meetings.
• Ability to perform basic math and make change.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and after hours; travel overnight occasionally.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and comply with PPE regulations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate store operations across sales, office, shop and management functions.
• Open and close the location consistently according to hours.
• Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products to customers.
• Conduct staff training and development; implement company programs and policies.
• Staff and manage personnel including hiring, discipline, and wage decisions.
• Resolve customer issues and escalate as needed; manage escalated complaints.
• Lead weekly store meetings to discuss safety, policies and product changes.
• Oversee merchandising, promotions and budget-driven goals for sales and gross profit.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and timely payments for discounts.
• Oversee daily cash handling, deposits, and purchase approvals.
• Maintain facility and asset security, inventory, and re-orders.
• Complete required reports and maintain store appearance per standards.
