Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, a MFA Oil Company subsidiary, is hiring a Management Trainee for the Big O Tires Store on Republic Rd in Springfield, MO. You will learn leadership through hands-on store operations while delivering strong customer service.

You will collaborate with Store Managers and District Leaders to control costs, improve profitability, train staff, and ensure safety, policy compliance, and a well presented facility with accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 18 years old and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain the state vehicle inspection license within one year of hire.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and after hours as needed.
• Retail or automotive service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate store operations with Big O Store Managers and Territory Managers.
• Staff the store with adequate personnel, train teams, and execute company policies.
• Set goals to achieve budgeted sales, gross profit, expenses and payroll targets.
• Promote services and products to customers to drive sales and loyalty.
• Perform inventory, cash handling, and timely reporting as required.
