Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Manager for our BOS-Braintree, MA location. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve store KPIs, and execute brand promises while controlling costs and inventory.

You will hire, train, and develop Team Members, ensure SOP compliance, and drive safety and shrink programs. Expect a dynamic, hands-on leadership role with nights, weekends, and early mornings as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including specialized knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, including SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and results.
• Deliver sales plan/profit plan and KPIs; manage the store team to achieve their role KPI’s.
• Lead execution of customer brand promises and safety programs; manage shrink reduction.
• Staff the store with qualified Team Members: hire, train, coach, and manage performance.
• Interact professionally, promote the organization’s vision, and serve as a role model for others.
