Job summary

Rent A Center in Indiana is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations and drive performance. The role involves achieving sales targets, directing team activities, approving rental agreements, and ensuring policy compliance to protect assets.

You will oversee account management, staff training, and inventory control while delivering excellent customer service and a consistent, high-quality experience for customers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience.
• Completion of RAC's Store Manager Development Program.
• Computer literacy in store operation applications.
• Valid state driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Set daily and weekly goals related to the store's sales activities, oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities, approve rental agreements, monitor revenue and growth.
• Account Management: Oversee direct coworker's collection activities, follow-up on accounts requiring manager intervention, approve customer commitments and train staff to follow procedures.
• Leadership: Manage store profits via resource control, ensure policy compliance, protect assets, oversee inventory, pricing, cash handling and security.
• Coworker Management: Train and develop coworkers, organize daily activities, recruit and hire, maximize retention and coach for exceptional service.
