Job summary

Carter's is seeking a Store Manager in Murfreesboro, TN to lead the team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach associates, drive sales performance, and ensure store operations align with brand standards across merchandising, payroll, and budgeting.

You will develop leaders, foster an inclusive environment, and champion Carter's product knowledge while engaging with customers on our baby and children’s lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail or related management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to coach and develop a team across shifts and roles

Responsibilities

• Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting; develop succession plans by training and developing your team
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment for employees to collaborate and recognize performance
• Grow leaders through providing direction, delegation, and investing in their development
• Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor by leading and directing the Leader on Duty program
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Build customer loyalty through directing and coaching the team on the benefits of customer participation in our Loyalty programs
• Execute Company's direction on merchandising and operations; manage payroll and budgets
• Understand and analyze KPIs and identify behaviors to drive results
• Seamlessly lead and integrate an omnichannel experience ensuring teams are trained on the tools available
• Reduce loss through a consistent level of customer service, education, and operational controls
