Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in San Francisco area is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service for West Elm. You will support the management team to deliver World-Class service and act as a role model for building customer relationships on the sales floor.

You will supervise store operations to ensure appropriate staff coverage and guide the team in achieving sales goals while upholding our People-First culture and values.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Superior critical thinking to identify challenges and act quickly.
• Great time management and ability to juggle priorities.
• 2-3 years of previous retail sales or customer service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals.
• Maintain adequate staffing on the sales floor and model selling and service.
• Coach staff on customer service principles and performance.
• Educate team on products and selling skills to meet business goals.
• Create a positive environment with a People-First approach.
• Resolve client service issues, deliveries and pickups using reporting systems.
