Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to support the management team in delivering World-Class service and to lead store supervision for optimal staffing. The role focuses on building relationships with customers and modeling a customer-first culture.

You will manage daily store operations, coach associates, and ensure a consistent, high-quality service experience across all areas of the store.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
2-3 years of previous retail sales or management experience in a customer service related field.

Responsibilities

Lead the store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and exceed sales goals.
Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed from a sales and tactical perspective while serving as a role model for sales associates in sales generation and service by prioritizing the customer experience.
Coach staff on their successes and challenges to reinforce customer service principles.
Use Selling Essentials and training resources to educate the team on product knowledge, selling skills and business goals.
Create and maintain a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity in line with our People-First Philosophy.
Resolve client service issues including delivery/pick-up and outstanding issues through effective use and management of client information reporting system.
