Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (West Elm) is hiring an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to lead the store team in delivering world-class service and achieving sales goals. You will model relationships with customers and ensure proper staff coverage across the store to support exceptional experiences.

You will coach associates on customer service principles, utilize Selling Essentials, and help drive product knowledge and selling skills while maintaining a positive, respectful store environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and exceed sales goals
• Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed while modeling sales generation and service focusing on the customer experience
• Coach staff on customer service principles, successes and challenges
• Educate team on product knowledge and selling skills using Selling Essentials and training resources
• Create a positive environment where associates are treated fairly and with dignity
• Resolve client service issues including delivery/pick-up and reporting systems
