Job summary

West Elm, part of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., in Estero, FL, seeks an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to lead a team in delivering World-Class service and an exceptional customer experience. You will model staff behavior, ensure presence on the floor, and optimize staffing to cover all areas of the store.

You will coach on selling skills, reinforce customer service principles, and collaborate with the team to meet sales goals while upholding our People-First culture.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of retail sales or customer service management experience.
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Superior critical thinking to identify challenges and develop action plans.
• Great time management to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure adequate staffing on the sales floor while role modeling sales and service.
• Coach staff on customer service and selling skills using training resources.
• Foster a positive environment aligned with the People-First Philosophy.
• Resolve client service issues including delivery/pick-up with accurate reporting.
