Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a capable Assistant Manager in training to assist the store manager across sales, operations, and appearance. The role aims to prepare you for a future management position at another store or location. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will supervise team members, participate in hiring and evaluations, and help manage safety, training, scheduling, and payroll. The position includes growth opportunities and a thorough certification path.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Coordinate with district and store managers on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining staff.
• Train new team members; conduct performance evaluations and recommend pay increases.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting tasks and interviews; ensure qualified candidates are selected.
• Ensure safety compliance and training across all areas; monitor KPI dashboards and P&L reviews.
• Maintain delivery fleet and payroll/timekeeping systems; manage scheduling.
