Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to help supervise store operations and develop into a store manager role. You will work with the district and store management teams to oversee professional and retail staff, drive KPIs, and ensure safety and training standards are met.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership development within O'Reilly's internal programs, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma and strong interpersonal/leadership abilities.
• Must complete Manager Development Program and related trainings.
• Strong numerical/alpha character reading and matching skills.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• Retail and management training pathway through O'Reilly program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail operations of store and team members.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, promote, and discipline team members in coordination with district/store managers.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety compliance and staff training across areas.
• Make sales calls with or without the store manager and manage the schedule.
• Maintain delivery fleet and payroll/timekeeping systems.
• Review gross profit, returns, price matches, KPI dashboards, and P&L with the store manager.
