Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona operates the Raintree Store in Scottsdale, where a Store Manager in Training leads daily store operations, drives donations, and delivers customer service excellence. The role oversees a Production Team, Donation Attendants, and Assistant Store Manager, with a focus on achieving income and production targets and maintaining brand standards.

The position requires leadership, strong retail experience, and the ability to coordinate with district management

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• One-year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
• Coordinates with Retail District Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to help drive donations.
• Monitors product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
• Ensures payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
• Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Ensures store locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
• Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Serves as a Goodwill ambassador to the community.
• Transfers to different stores at any given moment due to business needs.
• Partners with support areas to ensure compliance and goals.
• Builds a high-performing team and manages performance of Team Members.
