Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona seeks a Store Manager in Training for the 35th Ave & Union Hills store in Phoenix, AZ. You will drive retail operations at a busy Goodwill location, directly leading the Assistant Store Manager, Production Team, and Donation Attendants while coordinating with the Retail District Manager to meet annual goals.

Starting pay is $70,000 per year. The role requires retail management experience (thrift store preferred), customer service skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• One-year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives retail store operations to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
• Directly leads Assistant Store Manager, Production Team, and Donation Attendants.
• Manage payroll costs and operating budget within plan.
• Ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and reflect the Goodwill brand.
• Partner with community organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
