Cumberland Farms Vernon, CT is seeking a high-energy Managers In Training to learn all aspects of running a Cumberland Farms convenience store. You will work with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager to understand our guest service standards, operations, and store leadership.

This full-time role offers hands-on training, strong growth opportunities across 1500+ sites nationwide, a supportive team, and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health coverage, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications and Skills: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile!
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotating stock and keeping product levels full.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Maintain cleanliness of store interiors and exteriors, including coffee and food service areas.
• Operate the cash register in an efficient manner.
• In locations with hot food, assist with overseeing food service operation and other guidelines.
