Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Managers In Training to learn how to run a Cumberland Farms convenience store from our leaders. You will train with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, rotating shifts to learn about our retail operations, vendors, and guests, and to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred licenses/certifications and skills: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile; deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor; keep stock full and in-stock 100%.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Maintain store appearance; ensure coffee station, food service area, bathrooms are clean; delegate tasks as necessary.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• In hot-food locations, oversee quality control and safety; perform other duties as assigned.
