Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Manager In Training to support daily operations at our Connecticut locations. You will help lead a busy convenience-store team, with emphasis on customer service, training, scheduling, and coaching to meet company standards.

You will gain hands-on experience with store operations, stock management, and food-service oversight, while working with senior leaders to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• At least 1 year in retail or food service; leadership preferred.
• ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team; train, schedule, coach.
• Monitor product levels; ensure 100% in-stock at all times.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising and food safety in hot food locations.
• Maintain clean store appearance and operate cash register efficiently.
