Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Manager in Training to learn day-to-day operations of a Cumberland Farms convenience store. You will work closely with Training Managers and Supervising Managers, rotate through shifts, and gain hands-on leadership experience.

Upon completion, you will join our bench leadership team and support store operations, guest experience, and team development across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotating stock and keeping product levels full.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Maintain the store’s appearance and cleanliness, including the coffee station, food service area, and bathrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing quality control, merchandising, safety programs and other guidelines for food service operation.
