Job summary

Cumberland Farms in Connecticut is seeking a Manager in Training to learn day-to-day leadership of a Cumberland Farms convenience store. You will train with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, rotating through shifts to understand store operations, guest service, and team leadership.

This full-time program prepares you for bench leadership, with opportunities to advance into Store Manager roles, and to gain experience across a network of locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Preferred Education:
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional Customer Service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, maintaining 100% in-stock availability.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety in locations offering hot food.
• Maintain clean store appearance; manage coffee station, food service area, and restrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently; support food service operations.
