Job summary

Cumberland Farms, Inc. is seeking an energetic Manager In Training to support daily store operations and guest experiences. You will train under experienced managers, develop a competent team, manage stock levels, and uphold food safety standards across our convenience-store locations.

The role emphasizes growth, leadership development, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Training and advancement opportunities are available across our 1500+ sites.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year retail or food experience.
• Leadership experience in retail, guest service, or restaurant preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile; deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team including training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and keep shelves full for 100% in-stock goals.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs where hot food is offered.
• Maintain a clean store interior and exterior; ensure coffee and food areas are tidy and compliant.
• Operate cash register efficiently and support store operations as needed.
