Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Cordele, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to support store operations, sales growth, and team leadership while preparing for a future management position.

You will supervise team members, participate in hiring and training, manage safety, scheduling, and payroll, and work with the district manager to drive performance and profitability. Bilingual candidates encouraged; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail operations of store and team members
• Recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members under supervision
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations
• Assist in hiring process including recruiting tasks and interviews
• Ensure safety compliance and training across the management team
• Make sales calls and schedule weekly customer calls
• Oversee store operations, scheduling, payroll and timekeeping
• Review KPI dashboard and monthly P&L with store manager
