Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Manager In Training to support Store Managers and lead daily operations in a high-energy, guest‑focused environment. The role involves training with Managers, rotating through shifts, and preparing to fill leadership positions across 1500+ sites nationwide.

You will learn store operations, drive guest satisfaction, and help develop a strong team while delivering excellent service and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile; deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team; train, schedule, coach.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and keep stock 100% in‑stock.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety in locations with hot food.
• Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior; ensure coffee station and food service areas are spotless.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• In food locations, oversee guidelines for successful food service operations.
