Job summary

Cumberland Farms, Inc. seeks a driven candidate for its Managers In Training program to learn daily store operations and guest service leadership.

You will work closely with training managers and store leaders, rotating through shifts to gain hands-on experience across departments. Ideal candidates bring 1 year in retail or food service, strong customer service orientation, and a passion for developing teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year retail or food experience preferred.
• Preferred: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotating stock and keeping shelves full for 100% in-stock.
• Oversee merchandising, quality control, and food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Maintain a clean store environment, including coffee station, food service area, and restrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and support the Store Manager during shifts.
