Job summary

Cumberland Farms in Massachusetts is seeking an energetic future leader for a Managers In Training role. You’ll support day-to-day operations, help develop a high-performing team, and ensure superb guest experiences across shifts in a fast-paced store environment.

Through structured training with Managers, you’ll learn the business, vendor relationships, and store leadership skills, with clear growth opportunities as you move into store leadership roles across our 1500+ sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year in retail or food service; leadership exposure preferred.
• 1 year in leadership within retail/guest service or restaurant is a plus.
• ServSafe certification is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and coaching a strong team.
• Monitor shelf levels, rotate stock, and keep in-stock.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety in relevant locations.
• Maintain clean store appearance, including coffee/food service areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Support Store Manager or District Manager and perform other duties.
