Safelite in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily retail operations, drive KPI performance, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will manage staff, schedules, inventory, and cash handling while ensuring safety and service quality across all store activities.

The role requires strong leadership with experience in retail or service environments, preferably automotive, and a commitment to professional appearance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, or 5–7 years leadership/supervisory experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• 3+ years leadership experience with an incentive-based performance approach.
• 3–5 years of retail or service center experience; automotive background preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and engage a mobile workforce.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Professional appearance and use of PPE.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations: opening/closing, work orders, cash handling, and scheduling.
• Drive team performance to meet KPIs and company goals (NPS, Time to Serve, conversions).
• Ensure technicians are SafeTech certified and maintain quality installs/repairs.
• Provide guidance on vehicle/equipment maintenance and coordinate with marketing for materials display.
• Deliver world-class customer service by addressing complaints and warranty issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
