Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be a front-line brand ambassador, delivering outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance across our check cashing and financial services network.

In this role you will educate customers on product options, handle transactions, manage cash, verify information, train staff, and travel to stores within the district as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager or corporate office if unable to resolve with the customer.
• Answer telephone inquiries and respond to general questions, applications, requests, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in line with regulations and procedures.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, manage cash drawer, and prepare deposits as required.
• Balance daily batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Process all transactions accurately per company policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
