Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to act as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store.

The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, educating customers on product options, and ensuring regulatory excellence. The position requires handling currency, performing transactions, and maintaining accuracy in cash drawers in a fast-paced retail/financial services environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Must have own reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the product portfolio and present options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office if needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist with customer applications or requests.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Explain possible solutions and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle currency, cash, and coins; manage a cash drawer and deposits; may handle bank pickups.
• Balance receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process all transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete compliance trainings quarterly.
• Other duties as assigned.
