Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador across Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance while guiding store operations.

The role emphasizes educating customers on the product portfolio, handling cash with accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and staff within the assigned district.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on product portfolio and present options that meet needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager or corporate office if unresolved.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process applications or requests.
• Perform outbound calls for sales, courtesy, and collections per regulations and procedures.
• Explain solutions professionally to ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffusing complaints.
• Handle currency and cash deposits, balance drawers, and prepare bank deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete trainings in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
