Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a frontline brand ambassador across the Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store brands in the district.

You will lead exceptional customer service, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage daily cash operations in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of sales/customer service/cash handling experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in autonomous settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Ability and willingness to embody core values of accountability, inclusiveness, transparency, and focus

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist with customer applications and requests.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and clearly to customers, explaining solutions and ensuring they feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawers, deposits, and cash handling tasks.
• Balance receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information.
• Process all transactions per company policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely I Agree responses.
• Other duties as assigned.
