Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, mentor frontline staff, and ensure outstanding customer service across our check cashing and financial service products.

You will handle cash, verify transactions, maintain regulatory compliance, and work with the District Director of Operations to meet company standards. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls.
• Handle currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits; bank pickups as needed.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and process transactions per policy.
