Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent Customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions, including background screening, physical examination, fingerprinting and/or drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers.
• Provide visible presence and greeting to deter theft.
• Monitor for safety issues and ensure clear egress to exits.
• Support Loss Prevention directives and minimize shortages.
• Represent the Ross brand professionally at all times.
• Train and educate Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Assist with external theft response per policy.
