Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated loss prevention specialist to maintain a safe store environment and deter theft. The role requires strong communication, the ability to greet customers with a visible presence, and collaboration with store leadership to minimize operational shortages.

You will train Associates on shortage reduction, monitor for suspicious activity, and ensure compliance with safety and security policies while upholding Ross standards.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• AA degree preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment at store entrances/exits.
• Provide visible command presence and greet customers.
• Address theft indicators and support Loss Prevention directives.
• Educate Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Ensure proper checkout procedures and minimize shortages.
