Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to protect store assets and ensure a safe shopping environment. You will monitor entrances/exits, greet customers, and uphold company security directives while collaborating with store leadership.

The role requires at least one year of retail supervisor or loss prevention experience, strong communication, and a professional appearance in Ross-branded attire. Prior security training is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with store team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must comply with applicable laws for security positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for associates and customers.
• Provides visible command presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Gathers theft indicators and communicates with store leadership and loss prevention.
