Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to provide a visible presence at store entrances, greet customers, and deter theft. The role supports the Area Loss Prevention Manager across assigned stores, maintaining safety, and enforcing company policies with professional conduct.

The position requires strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills. A high school diploma is required, AA degree preferred, and various screening measures may apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and Associates.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities are required.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with store teams.
• Must comply with background screening, physicals, fingerprinting and drug testing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Provide visible greeting and monitoring with a body worn camera as required.
• Assist Store Leadership in maintaining safety and deterring theft and fraud.
• Participate in partnerships and trainings with district or loss prevention leadership.
