Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Specialty Assistant Store Manager in Training (SASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience across specialty, pro, and services departments. You will participate in a structured training program with mentorship and leadership development, learning Manager on Duty responsibilities and collaborating with store leadership and partners to boost sales and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred qualifications include collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of retail store management, including operations, customer service, sales and profitability, and company policies and procedures.
• Learn and demonstrate staffing and scheduling, stock deficiency resolution, and supervisory handling of selling behaviors.
• Contribute to performance management processes and completion of training modules.
• Support merchandising, inventory management, and daily financial operations with store partners.
• Assist in opening/closing MOD duties and uphold safety and policy compliance.
