Job summary

The Home Depot in Sacramento, CA is offering a Specialty Assistant Store Manager in Training (SASM-IT) program. This hands-on opportunity covers operations, customer service, sales, and leadership development while learning Manager on Duty responsibilities.

During the up-to-6 week training, SASM-IT will collaborate with the Store Manager, ASMs, Home Services, and Pro business partners to drive sales, service, and profitability across Specialty, Pro, and Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include being 18 years or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred candidates have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering store management aspects such as operations, customer service, sales, and profitability.
• Learn to supervise associates, manage staffing and scheduling, and resolve customer issues.
• Assist in inventory management, stock integrity, and merchandising decisions.
• Demonstrate safety compliance and adherence to all store policies and SOPs.
