Job summary

The Home Depot is offering a Specialty Assistant Store Manager in Training (SASM-IT) program in Pulaski, TN. You will gain hands‑on experience across Specialty, Pro, and Services departments and learn to develop strategies that boost sales and profitability.

During the up to 6‑week training, you will work with the Store Manager, ASMs, Home Services, and Pro partners to build leadership skills and learn Manager on Duty responsibilities while preparing to lead as an Assistant Store Manager with

Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in a structured training program covering store management, operations, customer service, sales & profitability, and policies.
Supervise selling efforts and drive customer service and associate engagement to resolve customer concerns.
Plan merchandise placement, signing, and stock integrity; learn store equipment and daily financial operations.
Perform opening/closing MOD and other store-wide responsibilities while enforcing SOPs and safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety and hazmat guidelines at all times.
