Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Store Manager in Training to assist in sales, appearance, and overall operations. The program aims to prepare you for a management position at another store or future location, with hands-on training and leadership development.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma, strong leadership, and knowledge of automotive parts. Bilingual Spanish is highly desired; experience in store or distribution center roles is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
• Desired: O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
• Completed O’Reilly management training program
• Advanced computer skills
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations.
• Supervise store team members and operations in coordination with district and store managers.
• Recruiting, interviewing, training, performance evaluations, and promotions.
• Ensure safety compliance and staff training across all areas.
• Monitor KPI dashboards, daily operations, and monthly P&L discussions.
• Learn to manage scheduling, payroll, and fleet maintenance.
