Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a candidate to assist the store manager in sales, appearance, and operations with hands-on training for future management roles. The program emphasizes leadership development and cross-functional responsibilities across both professional and retail teams.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, participating in hiring, ensuring safety training, and aiding in fleet maintenance and profitability analysis. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Communicate all information contained in Team Weekly and monthly store managers' meetings to all team members.
• Train new team members assigned to him or her.
• Highlight across docs
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
• Support store manager by working with the assistant management team ensuring safety compliance and that all team members receive appropriate training in all areas.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager.
• Support store manager in area of store operations as assigned.
• Responsible for the maintenance of delivery fleet and maintain records for each vehicle.
• Learn to manage key components of gross profit.
• Review KPI dashboards and monthly P&L with store manager
