Job summary

Yesway, Inc. in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager with daily operations, training, and development of employees, and to help manage store responsibilities.

You will assist with shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain compliance with policies. This role also involves audits, stocking, and monitoring profits through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
