Job summary

Yesway is seeking an assistant to support store management at our Borger location. The role focuses on supervising staff, scheduling shifts, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining guest hospitality and merchandise readiness.

The position involves assisting with audits, stock placement, and monitoring daily profits. Prior supervisory experience in retail or similar settings is preferred, with certification testing completed upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities including training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
