Job summary

CVS Health is launching the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program, a 16-week, development-focused path to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. It blends virtual and hands-on learning with guidance from your District Leader, HR Partner, and your Store Manager coach.

Anticipated weekly hours are 45. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in some cases.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in retail or store operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate well verbally and in writing to support and lead the team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Engage with leadership in learning experiences to progress toward promotion.
• Support the store as a management team member consistent with CVS values.
