Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Manager in training to support store operations and leadership development. You will work with the store team on sales, appearance, and overall performance while preparing for a manager role at another location.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged. The role includes responsibilities in scheduling, hiring assistance, safety training, and maintaining store standards as part of a broader development plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Professional - All delivery and installer service specialists
• Retail - All parts and merchandising specialists
• Monitor and evaluate performance and coach team members
• Assist in hiring, training, and safety compliance across the store team
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and KPI dashboards
• Review monthly P&L with store manager and identify opportunities
