Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership and operations skills for a future Retail Store Manager role. You will engage in hands-on assignments, receive structured learning opportunities, and progress within 8-12 weeks based on performance and experience.

With a focus on leadership, customer service excellence, and operational expertise, you’ll learn to oversee inventory, merchandising, and store performance while adhering to AutoZone culture and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Bilingual Spanish and English with strong communication.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Automotive retail or experience analyzing company financials (e.g., P&L) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• MITs participate in leadership training focused on developing management skills.
• Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training to build a strong store team.
• Lead by example to deliver WOW! customer service and store execution.
