Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership, customer service excellence, and operational mastery. Under the Store Manager, you’ll lead by example, participate in hands-on training, and prepare for future promotion into Retail Store Management.

Within 8-12 weeks, performance-based progression into management is possible, with structured learning, real assignments, and mentorship across a busy retail environment focused on delivering WOW! service and strong store results.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store team under the Store Manager.
• Deliver WOW! customer service and ensure store execution.
• Assist with staffing, training, and staff development.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Complete management skills training and learn core store operations.
