Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership, customer service excellence, and operational expertise. You will receive hands-on assignments and structured learning that could lead to management within 8–12 weeks, depending on performance and experience.

As an MIT, you will focus on leading by example, driving WOW! customer service, and building a strong, productive team while gaining a solid foundation in P&L awareness and store operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience as retail manager or supervisor.
• Full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Exceptional communication with Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing store team with focus on WOW! customer service.
• Support store operations, ensure policy compliance, and training processes.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising, and sales initiatives.
• Provide mentoring and staffing support to drive performance.
• Deliver strong customer service leadership and issue resolution.
